More about the Artist in Residence Program

The Elkhorn Slough Artist in Residence Program is hosted by the Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve and the Elkhorn Slough Foundation to inspire our community to have a greater connection with the ecological, historical, and cultural resources of the Elkhorn Slough and its watershed. Artists have long flocked to the Slough to paint, write and draw inspiration from this special landscape. This is a rare opportunity for artists to work peacefully at their own pace and experience this unique place at all hours of the day or night.  We are now accepting applications for our Spring 2018 Artist in Residence Program.  Deadline to apply is November 3rd, 2017.
