"I have always loved
and painted the landscape, especially in relationship to
water. There is a primary alliance between man and water.
The Slough has for me that same primordial soup essence of
being; it exudes timelesnes and serenity. It was especially
serendipitous that as I painted the lovely curving shapes
where water meets rising hills, an egret silently swooped in
to repeat those shapes.." -
