"As an artist, I feel
a deep responsibility to illuminate to the public the value
of open space in its natural state. The Elkhorn Slough - the
nursery of the Pacific central coast - must be protected and
kept in a pristine state so it can continue to nurture all
its inhabitants. When that becomes threatened, it is our
duty to protect it. The first step is to educate the public
that the land has become endangered so the community can
take steps to protect and ensure the health of the
eco-system. The intent of this show is to do just
that." -
