Sunset through exhaust stacks
11/1/06: This month we feature a shot by Kevin Contreras, taken in October 25th of this year. According to Contreras, "I've been watching the sun set into the ocean further south most every day this fall. On Wednesday (10/25/06) I watched it set right through the two large LS Power Group (formerly Duke Energy) exhaust stacks. This celestial alignment with human structures symbolizes to me that except for nuclear and geothermal sources, we obtain all other energy from the sun, including the natural gas used by this power plant."
