Slough Encounters of the Elkhorn Kind

12/1/06: This month we feature a shot by Ted Belleza, taken in August of this year. According to Belleza, "I was taking my regular Saturday early morning wildlife search when I happened upon these two. The otter was swimming and decided to intrude upon the gull's space. What transpired during the following 30 minutes was alternately captivating and funny. " We thought so too!
