ESF is a community-supported nonprofit working to preserve and restore the slough and its watershed. The Foundation's offices are across the parking lot from the Elkhorn Slough Reserve Visitor Center. (map)   ESNERR is one of 27 Reserves established as field laboratories for scientific research and estuarine education. ESNERR manages the trails and the Reserve Visitor Center.
