Cleanup 2008

This young otter thought a game of hide and seek with a plastic bag would be great fun. Its frantic mother thought otherwise and eventually freed her baby from the deadly bag.

Illegially dumped trash poses a real threat to Elkhorn Slough’s wildlife. You can help keep the slough clean by joining ESF for its annual Earth Day Cleanup. We’ll spend the morning cleaning illegally dumped trash from Kirby Park and other areas around the slough. Your help is greatly needed. All ages are welcome.
