Photographer’s Day Book

March 13, 2003 – familiar faces

A Western Grebe and his doppelganger.

A red-wing doing his spring thing.

A White-crowned Sparrow in a jaunty pose.

Northern Harriers are also called Marsh Hawks, and they're a common sight around the slough. I see females (as here) much more often than males.
