On the way to work I found this pond turtle in the middle of Elkhorn Road.
I moved him to the vernal pond south of Strawberry Lagoon.


The egrets are arriving in the rookery.


For mosquito abatement, our guzzlers are kept stocked with Gambusia,
a species renowned for its appetite for mosquito larvae
