A field trip to Moro Cojo provides this picturesque fence and a stylin' Red-wing.

This enchanting little Owl's Clover is a rare form of a local subspecies (Triphysaria versicolor faucibarbata). Apparently this white variety is found in just a handful of locations south of SF Bay.

Here's a closer look at the flower.

The botanists tell me this Chick Lupine is also a rare variety (Lupinus microcarpus var. densiflorus) with unusually blue flowers.

Definitely a good spot for rustic fence photos.
