11/10/03: This sea otter (Enhydra lutris) is probably the female named "Bolter" that was once a patient at a local marine mammal center. She has often been observed resting in the Rookery Lagoon, as on this day. Apparently she goes there to relax and/or to escape the advances of over-amorous males.
