December 10 , 2003 – after the rain

After our first heavy rain of the season, I thought I'd take a survey of the sky around the slough. Here at Strawberry Road the sky is still dark, and the water pulls it into itself.



A little later the sun begins to peek out – that's the Kirby Park boat dock at right.

The north marsh strikes a dramatic pose.

The sun finally gets back to work.
