The North Marsh was full of birds today. Egrets were angling...



...Blue-winged Teals were paddling...


...cormorants were feeding (caught him in mid-fish-flip)....


...and Stilts were reflecting.


Meanwhile, in the South Marsh, the Caspian Terns are returning to a couple of islands on which they've been nesting for the last several years.

Meanwhile, out in the main channel...if you look closely you'll see a seal pup nursing. Spring is well underway.
