8/30/2004: The last few weeks has been a great time to watch terns hunting at Kirby Park. The anchovies are running thick, and there seems to be a fishing hole left of the boat ramp that is favored by Brown Pelicans and several species of terns, including Caspian Terns (Sterna caspia) like this one.
