Coyote brush (Baccharis
pilularis) takes its own sweet time in bringing forth
its flowers here it is mid-September, and many of these
plants are in full bloom. Coyote brush is dioecious, meaning it
produces both male and female flowers on different plants, as
we see here the roundish yellow male flowers are at left,
the paintbrush-like white female flowers are at right.
