9/19/2005: Durng this year's September bird census, two groups of birders were pleased to spot this pair of Black Skimmers (Rynchops niger) in the neighborhood. This pair was first sighted patroling in the North Marsh area, and later was spotted resting at Seal Bend. Sightings of this species are rare in the watershed - until now, at least.
