Pajaro Middle School

The Pajaro Middle School-After School Field Studies Group met at the Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve Nature Center to learn more about the environment during the spring semester. Each week students walked the trails of the slough to learn more about the animals and the plants that they observed. The field studies group made observations about the changes that they saw at the reserve over the weeks of their visits.

 

We made some lists of the plants and animals that we have seen and we made our own translations of the animals that we saw into spanish. We have included some photos to show you some of the things that we experience when we come to the Elkhorn Slough:
